Parafilter III Sequencer comes with a total of 4 audio in and outputs.A dedicated audio in and output that splits up the incoming audio internally.
And 3 audio in and outputs to allow for mixing, sequencing and effecting of different audio input signals and connecting external effects pre or post.
Due to the quick workflow and easy handling of its flexible clip automation sequencer, gated rhythms, complex filter movements, filter sweeps, glitchy loops and rearranging of loops can be implemented in no time; steady inspiration is guaranteed!
Over 200 presets and three demo tracks await you to explore the flexible possibilities of the Parafilter Rack Extension with Reason Studios' synths, samplers and drum machines in full effect.
Each of Parafilter's three channels is equipped with 42 filter modes, such as lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch, multimode, multi bandpass, multi notch, comb, vowel and formant types. 8 invertible LFO waveforms, as well as LFO phase start, LFO tempo sync, LFO key sync and LFO clip sync options are available.
For those who like their sound or drums dirty, hot, phat or noisy, Parafilter can also serve as a versatile sound destruction tool. Each Filter LFO channel offers noise fx and a pre or post filter drive fx.
Flip the rack around to find a set of CV inputs for cutoff frequency, resonance and LFO modulation depth per channel.
Using the 9 sequencer CV outputs, as well as 3 LFO CV out and 3 LFO Depth CV out, Parafilter III can also double as an automation sequencer to control up to 15 parameters of any other software or hardware Instrument and Effect, with the options to midi key trigger the sequencer in key synced or in one shot mode.

      IIf you use the Thor synthesizer, then you probably know what hard sync is: when an oscillator completes a cycle, it will reset a 2nd oscillator running at a higher frequency to the beginning of its cycle. This creates new harmonics that can be unpredictable, but are surprisingly novel. Kitchen Sync takes input audio and uses it to reset an oscillator. If your input audio is from guitar, bass, or other instruments, the resulting sound is something completely new, yet with the pitch and dynamics of what you are playing.
