TechScheduler for Windows NT/2000/XP/2003/VISTA is the latest generation of powerful Windows scheduling tools produced by Dean Software Design. You can schedule virtually any Windows activity, allowing your workstation or server to become a task and event manager for local and remote systems.

TechScheduler will schedule programs & system activities on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP. Schedule programs as 'jobs' which can invoke other jobs or programs when they complete successfully or fail. Create circular jobs for server tasks. Programs can be forced to close after x minutes. Automatic MAPI and SMTP email notification when jobs run, logs to the NT Event-Log.

The following activities can be scheduled:

- Reboots

- WatchDog activities (monitor system)

- Shutdowns

- Network logouts

- File copy, delete, create & rename

- Automatic Emails to multiple recipients with file attachments

- process Termination

- Network Resource Connection and Disconnect

- Network Resource PING

- Keystroke Emulation jobs

- "Glue-it" reminder note jobs

- RAS Dial-up networking jobs

- Windows NT specific jobs (REXEC, SU and Windows Services commands)

- Automatic backuprestore using integrated industry standard zip files..

- Support for execution of VB Script and Java Script files.

- Automatic Web Browsing with our own small (400k) web browser.

As part of the TechScheduler package you also receive APIs for the program which you can use to develop your own custom applications that use the power of the TechScheduler engine. Included are c++, visual basic and delphi demo programs with source.

Included is a small remote viewing utility that lets you watch the Scheduler engine (UI or service) from a remote PC as well as a standalone console utility that monitors Techscheduler logs and provides a restart engine to keep Techscheduler (and any other Windows application) alive by restarting them should they fail.

TechScheduler uses a small DLL to handle the network resource PINGing function. The DLL may not be found on all versions of Windows 95 and NT. If your system does not have ICMP.DLL (use the FIND function, it should be in the WindowsSystem directory), then download it here: Download Icmp.Dll. After downloading it, put it into your WindowsSystem or WINNTSystem directory and restart Windows.

TechScheduler requires the following DLLs: MPR.DLL and WININET.DLL in order to have network and internet functionality. If your version of Windows 95/NT does not have these DLLs then follow the links provided to download them from our site. (These dlls are copyright Microsoft).
