Changes in Total Commander 6.55a; October 23, 2006 :

- This is a bug fix release. The only change is in the ZIP self-extractor, which failed to start after a recent Windows security update. The main program is unchanged and still appears as version 6.55

After the installation of the security update KB923191 for Microsoft Windows XP, all self-extracting archives created with Total Commander 6.55 cannot start any more. The reason seems to be a Windows error with the display of dialog elements (e.g. buttons) having the Windows XP themed look. There is no problem with self-extracting archives created by older versions of Total Commander, because they were still 16-bit programs. However, these older self-extracting archives do not run on Windows Vista.

Merhaba,

Ben şunu sormak istiyorum. eski totalcmd de zip simgesi farklı idi. Yani aşağıdaki resimdeki gibi idi...

ama benim total cmd de bunu yeni kurdm bu 7 versiyonunu grafiklerde oynamışlar ben aşagğıdaki resimde gösterdim üsteki simgeyi değiştirdim ama klasörlerde değiştiremedim.

Bunu nasıl yapabilirim?

Yani üstteki resimdeki gibi görünmesini istiyorum..

Total Commander (former Wincmd) is an Explorer replacement for

Windows. This is the 32 bit version for Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000,

and XP. A 16 bit version is also available as tc16v656.zip.

Total Commander handles archives like subdirectories. It supports

ZIP/ARJ/LHA/RAR/UC2/TAR/GZ/CAB/ACE archives, and has

an internal ZIP-compatible packer. The search function allows

to search for files inside archives, even for text. A command

line helps starting programs with parameters, and a fully

configurable button bar allows to launch programs and inter-

nal commands. The built-in viewer can show files in text,

hex, binary, image and multimedia format. The 32 bit version

supports Drag&Drop from and to explorer/desktop, delete to

the recycle bin, and Explorer style context menus/property

sheets. FTP servers on the Internet can be accessed like

local drives. A configurable directory hotlist (bookmarks)

and history list make directory navigation easier. The sync

function allows to synchronize two complete directory trees,

and the compare function shows the difference of two binary

or text files highlighted side by side.

This is my own extensively enhanced "Steroid' version of the latest release of the excellent Total Commander file manager. I've included a plethora of useful plugins, toolbar additions, filetype colouring, text editors, Total Commander configuaration apps and so on. These extras should be included by default but unfortunately are omitted. You should be able to do virtually every file manipulation posible with this kitted out variant of Total Commander.

Just unrar and run the Total Commader .exe; don't forget to read Readme-TotalCommander.rtf for more extensive instructions on how to get the most out of this sweet program.
