Network Notepad is a lightweight Windows application designed specifically for helping you create network diagrams using various preset objects and custom text.
Not so impressed by the GUI
The layout does not look user-friendly and intuitive, so you need to invest extra time and effort in order to decode the program's features.
There's no support for a help manual so experimenting with the utility's dedicated parameters is your only chance to understand how it works.
Importing/exporting options
The application allows you to import/export data from/to CSV or NDG file format, save the diagrams to BMP, GIF or PNG file format, as well as print the information.
Editing features
Network Notepad offers you the option to embed objects in your network diagram from a built-in library. The components are grouped into three categories, namely Flowchart, General and Title blocks.
You can add objects in the working environment using the drag-and-drop support, move them to the desired position, work with basic editing features (cut, copy, paste, delete), undo or redo your actions, and perform searches.
Furthermore, you are allowed to insert custom text to the preferred position in the diagram, customize the text in terms of font, font style, size, and color, embed horizontal or vertical backbones, bring objects to the front or send them to the back, add connection points and links, and display the IP address.
Diagram configuration settings
Network Notepad lets you edit diagram properties by specifying the name and adding notes, adjusting the canvas size and ratio, and altering the foreground, background and grid line colors.
Bottom line
All things considered, Network Notepad integrates a basic suite of features for helping you generate network diagrams. It still needs some GUI improvements in order to make the process more intuitive. It hasn't been updated for a while, so you can make use of its capabilities especially if you are the owner of an old operating system.

Since Vista, Windows Defender is included with Windows. It's a small piece of software that runs in the background to help protect, your computer from malware (malicious software) like viruses, spyware, and other potentially unwanted software. Some spyware protection is better than none, and it's built in and free! But. If you are already running something that provides great anti-malware protection, defender will probably wasting precious resources, there's no need to have more than one application running at a time.
The problem with all Defender versions in Windows Vista and above is it's integrated into the operating system and installs by default with no visible or hidden option to uninstall. Many people are looking for ways to disable or remove it from their system as they prefer to use other software, for example on Windows 8 and 10 you cannot turn off Windows Defender completely anymore. A click on Settings in Windows Defender opens the control panel for the program in the new Windows Settings application. You can turn the program's real-time protection off temporarily, but if it's off for a while Windows will turn it back on automatically. It is unclear why Microsoft made the decision to change the behavior of Windows Defender in this regard. What is certain however is that it will annoy users who want to disable it permanently on the computer they are working on. Defender Control is a small Portable freeware which will allow you to disable Windows Defender in Windows 10 completely.
Why should you use it

3. Some antivirus programs ask the user to manually turn off or disable Windows Defender in Windows 10
4. If you've got it enabled, chances are Windows Defender will start each time you boot your PC. If you're short on resources, have your own methods of dealing with spyware or have simply come to the conclusion that Windows Defender is not for you then you might want to disable it.

Such integration provides R-Studio with a low-level fine-tuned access to drives with a certain level of hardware malfunction. Moreover, it allows disk imaging and analyzing be performed simultaneously. That is, any sector R-Studio accesses on the source disk will be immediately cloned to a clone disk and any other data recovery operation will be made from that clone disk avoiding further deterioration of the source disk and great reduction in processing time.
