It handles three configurations or calculation approaches: (i) the structure is coupled to a cavity or to a semi-infinite fluid domain (direct approach), (ii) the multilayer is inserted in a waveguide (waveguide approach), and (iii) the multilayer is treated as a Periodic Unit cell. The Windows version is limited to rectangular domains meshed using quad4 and hexa8 elements.
