However, some easily accessible extra information may be required by the background systems, so you can access further data in separate xml files. This means that you need to have a computer with at least an i3 class processor (with min. 4 virtual CPUs) and a recommended minimum of 4 gigabytes of RAM. The maximum size of images that you are able to process depends on the available memory. The optimal configuration is an i7 class processor with 8 gigabytes of RAM. Image Size Limitations There is no hard image size limitation. The recommended resolution for A4 size document image is 300 dpi in black and white (1 bit depth). But you can process hundreds of true color, 600 dpi, A4 document images. It means 4961 x 7016 pixels, cca. 100 MB per image. So in order to process this type of document image with 20 pages, your machine would need at least 2 gigabytes of available RAM, OR at least 4 gigabytes of physical RAM.
