Oyundaki tüm üretim seçenekleri bir başka seçenekle etkileşimliydi ki öyle olması da lazımdı. Örnek verecek olursak ekmek üretebilmek için oyunda buğday tarlası, değirmen ve fırın yapmış olmamız lazımdı. Bununla birlikte üretim ve gelişme seçenekleri serinin her oyunda daha da iyiye gitmişti. Savaşlar da diğer strateji oyunlarına göre çok farklı olmasa da farklı denilebilecek bir tarzdaydı ve en önemlisi oyunda ne olursa olsun bir kale kurulmalıydı. Etrafı duvarlarla çevrili olmayan kulelerle ve kulelerin üstüne dizilmiş okçularla desteklenmeyen bir kaleyi düşmanlara karşı savunmak gerçekten çok zordu. Bu da zaten oyunun Stronghold adını taşımasının en temel sebebi.

Babası Uther'in taşa saplamış olduğu kılıcı excalibur'u yerinden çıkartarak kral olan Arthur bu oyunda Saxon'lara karşı yanında Sir Lancelot, Gawain, Bedivere, Percival, Galahad, Gareth gibi şövalyeler ve Merlin ile birlikte mücadele etmekte. Guinevere de bu oyunda ismi geçen ve görebileceğimiz karakterlerden. Bunun dışında karşımızda başka düşmanlarda olacak tabii ki. Hikâye bilinen Kral Arthur hikâyesi olmanın dışına çıkıp bambaşka bir hal almış bu sefer karşısında Ice ve Evil olmak üzere iki farklı düşman daha bulunuyor Arthur'un. Bunun dışında bahsettiğim o diğer ırklara ait kampanyalar da bulunmakta oyunda. Oyunda Arthur'la oynadığımız kampanyada öncelikle excaliburu ele geçiriyor kral olup Camelot'u kurmaya ve daha sonra savaşlar yapıp galibiyetimizi ilan etmeye çalışıyoruz diyebilirim kısaca. Diğer ırklar ise tam tersine birbirlerine ve özellikle de Arthur'a karşı savaşıp onu yok etmek için uğraşıyorlar. Her ırkın kendine ait özel karakterleri daha doğrusu kahramanları var. İnsanlar için saydığım kahramanların dışında bir de bizi oyunun giriş ekranında karşılayan ejderhayı yapmamız mümkün. Fakat çok uzun ömürlü bir canlı değil maalesef.

Stronghold Legends is a castle-based real-time strategy game by Firefly Studios. It follows in the series of Stronghold and Stronghold 2.

Unlike the previous Stronghold titles, Legends gives the player a choice of different starting rulers with different troop types (including King Arthur and his knights of the round table, Count Vlad Dracul, and Siegfried of Xanten). Other new features include cooperative multiplayer against computer-controlled opponents and the choice between different game play options for online play (Death-match, King of the Hill, Economic War, and Capture the Flag).
