THREE NEW INSTRUMENTS
KONTAKT 6 introduces the KONTAKT Play Series: Sonically rich sample libraries that combine powerful sound design with simple playability. Each offers eight intelligently mapped macro knobs giving you a wide-sweeping, intuitive range of control. They all showcase KONTAKT's new wavetable module, each offering two blendable sound sources and a unique take on a speciality style.
ANALOG DREAMS
Iconic 20th century hardware synthesizers captured with an intricate level of detail, and creatively processed with seminal outboard effects. This hybrid analog/digital instrument utilizes blendable sound sources to deliver a modern take on classic electro and synthwave, which have seen a resurgence in recent cinema.
ETHEREAL EARTH
Hybrid organic/electronic instrument that takes myriad acoustic instruments from around the world, and combines it with digital synthesis, organic foley layers, and effects processing. The result fuses traditional and digital, with basses, strings (bowed and plucked), wind instruments, tuned percussion, bells/metals, pads/drones, leads, and textural ambiences.
HYBRID KEYS
A contemporary, creative, and ultimately new take on keys and piano sounds. HYBRID KEYS moves away from conventional sampling processes and instead focuses on inventive techniques such as re-amping, creative mic positioning in interesting spaces, and vari-speed experiments with tape.
NEW FEATURES FOR BUILDERS
KONTAKT has long since grown beyond its origins as a software sampler, and now provides a solid foundation for building advanced sample-based instruments. We've been supporting this platform, and the people who use it, with continuous updates to KONTAKT 5, and KONTAKT 6 builds on this strategy with some big additions for you builders out there.
NEW EFFECTS
Replika Delay: Based on the dedicated Native Instruments plug-in REPLIKA XT, it offers multiple delay modes, each with a vastly different sound character.
Room Reverb: A new high-quality algorithmic room reverb that offers options for real time modulation.
Hall Reverb: Another high-quality algorithmic reverb, tuned for hall sounds.
Plate Reverb: Emulates a plate reverberator for for classic vintage metallic sounds.
Cry Wah: Wah-wah effect module, based on the most popular wah pedal of all time.
WAVETABLE MODULE
The latest version of KONTAKT adds wavetable synthesis to the ever expanding KONTAKT toolset. All three of the new Play Series instruments incorporate this new module, and we're looking forward to hearing what you create with this powerful new building block. With our 6.1 update, a new Inharmonic mode was added that stretches partials away from the harmonic series, for more bell-like tones.
CREATOR TOOLS
Creator Tools is a standalone application designed to improve the workflows of library builders and instrument creators. It consists of three elements: A Debugger, for identifying and fixing problems in KONTAKT script; an Instrument Editor, which can load and run Lua scripts to automap samples, duplicate and batch rename groups, and copy settings from one part of an instrument to another; and a GUI Designer, which allows creators to assemble, customize, and reuse KONTAKT performance views and controls without the need to write code.

Fracture Sounds Box Factory KONTAKT | 2.4 Gb
Box Factory is a unique cinematic percussion library geared towards composers and producers alike, featuring a huge 40-piece ensemble of cardboard boxes, masterfully sampled in a concert hall.
Built for the free Kontakt Player.
We assembled six performers and 40 boxes of different shapes and sizes in a concert hall, and curated 13 unique ensembles rag from large to small boxes with a range of stick types and performance techniques.
The sound of Box Factory is familiar, yet totally unique. It is presented in a way that will feel at home if you've used any other percussion library - you can approach in the same way as you would toms, taikos and snares - yet it offers a certain organic, raw and tactile sound that is unlike any conventional percussion instrument.
Whether used as the sole percussion instrument in a composition (as is the case with all the demo tracks on this page), or layered with other drums, the diverse tones and flexible sound-shaping controls offered by Box Factory will be an essential sonic ingredient for anyone looking to freshen up their percussion palette.
The Sound
We returned to the same concert hall where we recorded Glacier Keys, Frozen Percussion, Dulciano, and many others. Using a selection of 32 top shelf microphones from Neumann, Coles, DPA and Senheiser, we captured the ensembles from multiple perspectives in the room. From these recordings, we created four distinct mixes - Natural, Aggressive, Gritty, and Snappy - giving you a diverse palette of sounds to complement any musical style.
Natural - This mix is the closest sound to the source recordings. With just some gentle processing to enhance and polish the raw recordings, the Natural mix is perfect for those situations where an organic, un-hyped sound is required.
Aggressive - With a carefully selected processing chain, the Aggressive mix turns up the heat and adds some extra dirt and girth. The heavy compression and saturation in this mix bring out the ambience in the room mics, and this can be manipulated further with the 'Punch' and 'Decay Trim' controls to yield a wide range of results.
Gritty - This mix chain uses some pretty unusual processes (including running the signal through a bass amp!), and offers a very powerful sound with some real mojo, and a particular emphasis on the mid-range. The Gritty mix is our personal favourite.
Snappy - While the Aggressive and Gritty mixes are focused on hyping the raw recordings so they sound larger than life, the Snappy mix is the opposite. This mix offers short and snappy hits with sharp transients and a less roomy sound. With an emphasis on dynamic range, the Snappy mix is super responsive under the fingers and feels great to play.
Each of the four mixes include three individual microphone perspectives (Close, Mid and Far). These signals can be blended with ease using the 'perspective' slider, or controlled with greater precision using the separate microphone faders, letting you dial in the perfect amount of ambience, whether you want a dry 'studio' sound, or a spacious sound which sits at the back of a mix.

Cinematique Instruments Pandrum KONTAKT | 1.51 GB
The Pandrum is an exceptional, fantastic sounding instrument in a modern design. It is ultimately a very impressive reproduction of a real handpan, but it also offers the ability to tremendously expand and diversify the entire sound using numerous functions.
6 tools
We have collected high quality handpan tools such as Zephyr, Leaf, Pan Art, Camenzind, Orbi Pan and Tiflis. We also recorded a dedicated Zephyr percussion set as well as a hammer-played Orbi Drum set that sounds like steel drums.

Reed Drum There are two inspiring reed drums: the Aqua Drum and the long-playing RAV Vast.
18 frets The
Pandrum features 18 different frets. This gives you the opportunity to play authentic scales in addition to the usual chromatic keyboard scale. This option is ideal for using external controllers such as the Wavepan Controller, which has been specially designed for Pandrum and is perfect for it.
Detailed Sampling
All instruments and articulations were recorded in a very sophisticated way with eight round robins in 5 dynamic layers.
Instruments with 5 layers
You can mix or even play exclusively additional layer sounds, such as the great-sounding Gender - Gamelan vibraphone or atmospheric Felt Piano. Plus, inspiring guitars and a Sald Bowl are at your disposal.
Tone Shaping
In addition to the usual instruments such as envelope (attack, decay), there are EQ and filters, reverb, delay, and additional fx options such as cabinet, drive, tremolo or rotation. This is ideal for quickly changing and shaping the entire Pandrum sound.
6 Presets
In order to demonstrate the versatility and ability to create textures, 6 presets are available. Each of them denotes a different way of playing Pandrum.
