Chromium altyapısını kullanan ilk örneklerden olan SRWare Iron, altyapısının getirdiği tüm güçlü özelliklere sahip aynı zamanda da farklılıkları ile ayrılan bir web tarayıcı. 2008 yılından beri kullanılmaktadır. Google Chrome'da aktif olan ama SRWare'de aktif olmayan özellikler: RLZ kayıt aracı aktif değildir. Gün içerisinde yapılan işlemleri ve sorguları Google'a bildirmez. Eşssiz ID ("clientID") sistemi ile çalışmaz. Bu sayede bilgisayarınızda kurduğunuz Chrome için bir numara almamış olursunuz. Google için özelleştirilmiş 404 sayfaları ve diğer hata sayfaları yer almaz. Google Updater ile otomatik güncelleme yapmaz. Hata ayıklama modu ve bu bilgilerin merkeze iletilmesi işlemlerini gerçekleştirmez. Google Chrome'dan ayrılan özellikleri: Ad-Block servisinin kendi içinde yüklü olarak gelmesi. Chrome'da bu servis yüklü olarak gelmemektedir. UA.ini dosyasını düzenleyerek UserAgent bilgilerinin değiştirilmesi. Chrome'da bu işlem için komut satırının kullanılması gerekmektedir. Açtığınız sekmelerde 12 adet önizlemeye kadar destek sunar. Chrome'da bu sayı 8 ile sınırlıdır.
