WinContig, bilgisayarınızda herhangi bir kurulum dizini veya Kayıt defteri girişi oluşturmayan, kullanımı kolay, bağımsız bir birleştirme aracıdır. Amacı, tüm diski birleştirmeye gerek kalmadan dosyaları hızlı bir şekilde birleştirmek. Ayrıca WinContig, dosyaları profiller halinde gruplandırmanıza izin verir ve ayrıca programın nasıl çalıştığını kontrol etmek için kullanabileceğiniz bir dizi isteğe bağlı komut satırı anahtarını kabul eder.

WinContig, diskin tamamı yerine esas olarak dosya ve klasörlere odaklanan kullanıcıların ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için özel olarak tasarlanmıştır. 

WinContig, FAT32 ve NTFS dosya sistemlerini destekler ve Sabit Diskler ve SSD'ler ile çalışır.
