This security tool allows you to restrict your users from accessing important system resources like the control panel, the desktop, screensavers and the registry. Hide entries in the Start menu, restrict downloads in Internet-Explorer and many others. Select also, which programs each user is able to run and which programs are restricted. Restrictions can even be set for each individual user or group. Set a fixed wallpaper and avoid unwanted desktop wallpapers in future! A very useful tool for all administrators/parents and teachers, who are fed up of setting up the system over and over again. Notice: Win Control does not include a webfilter. These filters can be user-modified at any time to add additional websites or keywords. This functionality can also be relaxed from time to time. At this point, no further modifications to settings should be allowed. All too often, however, this is not the case. User Control can completely block access to certain system settings. User Control freezes the desktop appearance as you set it up. This can include the ability to move icons, or use of the context menu on any school or public-access computer.Automatic Logging The Administrator has complete control. He or she decides which users or groups any restrictions will apply to. Only the Administrator can access the automatically generated log files. You can decide which applications can run on a particular computer at any given time, and which websites can be viewed.
