RekSFV , SFV, MD5, SHA1, SHA256 ve SHA512 dosyalarını içeren Klasörleri/Diskleri tekrar tekrar kontrol eden taşınabilir bir uygulamadır . Klasörleri bu araca bırakmanız yeterlidir,

RekSFV, bulunan tüm bu dosya türlerini kontrol edecek ve bir dizini birbiri ardına kontrol ederken sonuçları gösterecektir. Çıktı aşağıdakiler dahil olmak üzere sekmeler halinde olacaktır:

ilerleme, sağlama toplamı ve karma geçmişi, bozuk ve eksik dosyalar ve ayarlar.
 
İyi/kötü veya tamamlanmamış klasör(ler) hakkında genel bir bakış elde etmek veya yalnızca şunlardan emin olmak için birden fazla klasörü veya sabit diskin tamamını tararken faydalı olabilir.

dosya bütünlüğü hala verilmektedir. Sağlama toplamı dosyalarının oluşturulmasını da destekler. Şu anda 7 dilde mevcuttur: İngilizce, İsveççe, Almanca, Rusça, Çince, Ukraynaca ve Lehçe.
 
RekSFV'de başlamadan önce kontrol etmeye değer birçok ayar bulunmaktadır . (daha fazla bilgi için shortcuts.nfo ve readme.nfo)

İçerik Menünüze ek olarak RekSFV ekleyebilirsiniz .

          * CTRL+A did not work when using OSK ([ssCTRL] vs. [ssCTRL, ssLeft]).
           - reported by G÷ran.
          # CTRL+A and CTRL+C can be used for all 3 listviews to copy the whole
            content.
          # CTRL+V can be used to copy explorer filepaths to sfv-summary tab.
          # drag single (non checksum) files on summary or progress tab to be
            checked. if a checksum file can be found the dropped files will be
            scanned while all the others are skipped. so a single new file in a
            folder can be checked now.
            - all requested by G÷ran.
          # incomplete and duplicate lines on checksumfiles are counted and
            announced.
            - requested by Juan.
          * adding RekSFV's context menu to explorer didn't work as expected.
          * summary: wrong count of files in some cases using drag'n drop.
