Total Commander, Windows ile çok uyumlu bir şekilde çalışmaktadır. Kullanmaya başladıktan sonra sizde göreceksiniz ki eliniz ayağınız olacak ve vazgeçemeyeceksiniz.

Sıkıştırma işlemlerinde de birçok formatı desteklemektedir. Sıkıştırma formatları arasında: ZIP, ARJ, LZH, RAR, UC2, TAR, GZ, CAB, ACE yer almaktadır. Bu programın bir diğer yararlı özelliği ise FTP üzerinden sitelere bağlanıp buralarda da dosya işlemlerini gerçekleştirebilmesidir.

Diyalog menüleri ve menülerdeki hatalar giderildi.

Shift+Click tuşlarını beraber kullandığınızda yazıları topluca seçebilme özelliği eklendi.

ZİP formatı ile çoklu çalışma hatası giderildi.

ZİP formatı ile büyük boyutlu dosyaların çalışma hatası giderildi.

Menüde gösterilen tuşların belirli aralıklarla görünmemesi düzeltildi. Sürekli görünür hale getirildi.

FTP dosyalarını silebilme özelliği eklendi ya da FTP kullanırken iptal özelliği eklendi.

Programın genel renklendirme ve tasarımı konusunda değişiklikler yapıldı.

Programın içinde bulunan bazı sistem hataları giderildi.

Total Commander Ultima Prime is a collection of the software and customized settings sets gathered in one installation package for enhancing Total Commander (file manager) possibilities. Our project differs from official distribution provided by Christian Ghisler on totalcmd.com site. If you’d like to see and try our solution, you can download it from our servers and discuss about it on our forum’s board. We provide our customization work as freeware in the form as it is but please remember, that Total Commander itself is distributed as shareware. Please keep in mind, that other contained applications licenses might differ and not be proper for commercial purposes too.

The newest version brings another installer's code changes. Since now it is possible to start TC UP with operating system. Because of false alerts provided by antivirus applications, TC UP is installed with safe mode, without any suspicious files. To install whole project's content users should choose "full installation" mode.

The project has gained WinContig application for deframenting files purpose. Advanced users should be satisfy with excellent log viewer called Tail for Win32. The way of providing additional informations in customized columns has been corrected.

- Added deleted files restore tool called "Recuva" - special thanks to Rufus for agreement to include this application into project.

- "AIMP" has been updated to the newest version (2.51 Build 323).

Equipped with everything you need
The good thing about Total Commander Ultima Prime is that it comes bundled with all sorts of useful plugins, so that you won't need any other software. For example, you can add/remove programs, access autorun, CD/DVD burning, e-mail, virtual disks, a web browser, Notepad++, TeamViewer, Universal Extractor, uTorrent, Virtual Dub, and many others, but also be able to shut down or restart the computer.

Putting no stress on your computer
The software is great overall, but it doesn't give you the possibility of selecting the exact plugins you want and don't want to install, and most people are not interested in using everything an application (in this case, a file manager) has to offer. Nevertheless, Total Commander continues to use less CPU and memory than Windows Explorer, and that "feature" is always welcome.
