priPrinter is a fast and very efficient print previewer and virtual printer. priPrinter can handle very big print jobs and may change them in many ways. For instance,  priPrinter can put several pages onto one sheet of paper, apply watermarks or remove pages. priPrinter can help you with rearranging pages or jobs, removing margins and making text corrections. priPrinter can help you with generating PDF files with help of real-time preview and ability to optimize size of PDF files.

From print preview to 3D preview, separate settings to themes - priPrinter always can help you with all print related tasks.

In this version almost all changes are inside. Despite of that, changes are great. For instance: Support of different sizes and orientations, Page combining mode especially optimized for Excel tables, New 2X faster JPEG library.

New Features

  • Portrait/Landscape orientation in one output document/job.
  • Different paper sizes in one output document/job.
  • PDF - Convert text to curves - new feature is added.
  • Printing: Flip output horizontally/vertically. May be helpful if you are working with transparencies.
  • Combine pages horizontally.
  • Combine pages horizontally + smart mode especially for Excel tables.
  • Print statistics - now with inks coverage.
  • New fast JPEG library ( libjpeg-turbo ).
  • "Print and Exit" option is now available for custom "Print To" buttons.
  • Crop Marks. New in priPrinter 6.0.1
  • Many small changes and improvements

 Features in Depth

Portrait/Landscape orientation and different paper sizes - This new feature is available in Original or One Page layout when orientation is Automatic.

  • In original layout - orientation and page sizes can be different, in one page layout - page size is always match size of output printer, while orientation can be portrait or landscape.
  • In double sided mode orientation is determined by front side so it is better to use same orientation for both sizes.
  • Parts of the page which possibly can't be printed by activate printer are marked by red color.

While mixed orientations can be printed quite good, different paper sizes are for PDF mostly. Parts which can be clipped by your printer will be highlighted with red color.

PDF - Convert text to curves - This is an additional option in PDF options, advanced tab.

Flip printing - this is an additional control, which can be configured via print preview pane options.

Combine pages horizontally - Select two or more pages, right click on any selected page and select combine.

[spoiler]v6.3.0.2363 (2015-06-08):
Fixed an issue with generating grayscale PDF files.
Fixed an issue with generating PDF files: lines with invalid miter length.
Minor changes in script debugger.
New option in View tab: Show Crop Area. Crop area may be displayed in Page Thumbnails panel.
New option Show Copies. Now number of copies from printing application are supported in print preview window.
A crash in dialogs in high DPI mode is fixed.
A crash related to saving document with deleted subdocument is fixed.
Printer attached to "Print To" button now can be configured via button context menu.
Korean translation is improved a lot.
Ctrl+C shortcut now works with watermarks.
New Date object in priPrinter scripting.
Fixed an issue with saving pages to image files: slightly different image dimensions.
Cropping pages in active page mode should be more consistent.
French translation is improved a bit.
Fixed an issue with switching to color/grayscale mode during printing.
Several functions was added in scripting engine.[/spoiler]

what's New in v6.9.0.2541

Fixes and improvements in translations.
An issue in the URL detection code is fixed. Now multi-line URL should be detected correctly.
Added text align mode for watermarks or text items.
New script functions are added.
Fixed an issue in printing job to separate printer trays.
New command-line arguments to be used by scripts.
Fixed an issue with displaying Thai characters.
Fxied an issue in writing 'fira sans condensed' font to .PDF file [PRO]
An option to repack exitsing JPEG images in PDF files [PRO].
Now it is possible to store configuration of dropped or inserted images, so next time image will be inserted using same settings.
Modern "File Open" and "File Save" dialogs are used now.
Many minor issues are fixed.
