Neden gerekmiş acaba ve farkları (NTFS'den) neymiş? Eğer REFS NTFS'yi, NTFS REFS'i desteklemezse (Sistem içerisinden göremezse) çok kötü olur. Zira böyle bir durumda bir PC'ye win 7 ve 8 yine birlikte (farklı partition'larda) kurulabilir ama her iki sistem açılışındada diğer sistem yüklü partition'a ulaşmak mümkün olmaz; bir partition NTFS formatlı olurken diğeri REFS formatlı olur. Dahada kötüsü böyle bir durumda arşiv için ayırdığımız partition'larada sadece bir sistemden ulaşabilir diğerinden ulaşmamız mümkün olmaz.
